What is Proposition 65?
California's Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (commonly known as "Proposition 65" or "Prop 65") requires businesses to provide a clear and reasonable warning before knowingly exposing anyone to chemicals listed by the State of California as known to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
Our Products
Naked Tallow products are made from high-quality, minimally processed grass-fed beef tallow and a small number of natural ingredients. Our formulations are intentionally simple and free from synthetic additives, preservatives, fragrances, and other commonly problematic ingredients.
The primary ingredient — grass-fed beef tallow — is not listed as a Proposition 65 chemical.
We continually review our ingredient list against the current Proposition 65 chemical list. At the time of this notice, we are not aware of any Proposition 65-listed chemicals in our products at levels requiring a warning under California law.
